TUCKER BEATHARD RELEASES MOVING TRIBUTE “I AIN’T WITHOUT YOU”
Beathard Returns To Grand Ole Opry Where He First Performed The Track In New Music Video Premiered Exclusively By Rolling Stone
Pivotal Song Is Taken From Beathard’s Upcoming LP KING - Available August 21
Garnering acclaim as an unwavering artist who “bares his soul,” (Billboard) Warner Music Nashville’s Tucker Beathard is sharing another piece of himself with the release of “I Ain’t Without You” out today, and available to listen here. Beathard co-wrote the song with his Father and collaborator, Casey Beathard, as the two process the emotions and pay tribute following the passing of Beathard’s late brother Clayton King Beathard. Beathard first performed the stirring but hopeful song earlier this year at the Grand Ole Opry, and he returned to perform the track for a moving music video to honor the release. The new video debuted exclusively with Rolling Stone and is available to watch here.
“You can never prepare for something like this happening in your life. To be honest, I was always terrified of having someone so close to me pass away because I knew I wouldn't have the strength to get through it on my own,” shared Beathard. "This song was inspired by the relationship I developed with the Lord following my little brother passing away and realizing that I don’t have the strength to go through this alone, but also realizing more than ever before that I’m not alone, and I am strong enough, but I ain’t without him.”
The pivotal new track is the crown on the head of Beathard's upcoming record KING’s head. Slated for release on August 21, the 13-song set is a musical mosaic of Beathard’s fire-tested spirit, each song a different tile in the bigger picture, with Beathard racking up co-producer, co-writer, lead guitar and drum credits on every track on the record. Ahead of the upcoming release, Beathard just shared a vulnerable new take on his fan-favorite song “Faithful," releasing the track as a collaboration with fellow chart-topping singer/songwriter and musician, Lindsay Ell, available to watch here.
The first country artist to release a debut double album, singer/songwriter Tucker Beathard’s first installment, “Nobody’s Everything,” was immediately praised as Beathard digs deep on the vulnerable collection that focuses on Beathard’s craft and shine a light on an artist that continues “generally blowing folks' minds with his catalog of heartbreak-heavy tunes” (NOISEY/ VICE). Citing influences ranging from Blink 182, Kings Of Leon to Led Zeppelin and AC/DC, Beathard’s homegrown sound is turning heads. Following the independent release of “Nobody’s Everything,” Beathard signed a major recording deal with Warner Music Nashville. Beathard immediately garnered attention as “a country breakout,” (Entertainment Weekly) with his debut Top 5 breakout anthem “Rock On” and touring relentlessly including major festival including Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits Festival, Stagecoach and Faster Horses Festival, often playing upwards of 200 shows a year. Between touring, Beathard, a prolific songwriter, can be found in the studio, writing, recording, and playing his music.
