THANK YOU ARIZONA! INCREDIBLE WEATHER, SUPERSTAR ARTISTS AND DELIRIOUS CAPACITY CROWDS HIGHLIGHT A SPECTACULAR WEEKEND

The only way to top a record-breaking year in 2021, would come down to the fans who filled every camp site and every available space in the massive concert bowl at Canyon Moon Ranch in Florence over the past four days.

A festival line-up of this magnitude was bound to be next-level, but the weekend belonged to them.

“We knew this group of artists would bring a lot of excitement,” says Country Thunder Music Festivals CEO, Troy Vollhoffer. “But the loyalty and enthusiasm of CT Nation in Arizona is humbling for our entire Thunder team.

“It felt great to get back to our traditional spring show in the desert, but we also knew it was a lot to ask from fans who came out in droves only six months ago.

“The fans at Country Thunder Arizona embody the festival spirit and what country music is all about. They’re the reason that we are already planning on bigger and better for 2023!”

Sheriff Mark Lamb of the Pinal County Sheriffs' Office also weighed in on those fans and the event, in general. He referred to Country Thunder 2022 as one of the best his staff has ever been part of.

"We want to thank Country Thunder for yet another great weekend of fun and live music, he said. “This event is always a great opportunity for my Deputies with the Pinal County Sheriff's Office to meet and talk with residents, and we enjoy getting to interact with them.

“We think this was one of the best events to date, and we look forward to future Country Thunder weekends."

While it’s not too early to think about April 2023, it’s hard not to bask in the glory of the weekend that was. For many, Wallen was the must-see artist of the weekend, and he did not disappoint the fun and rowdy overflow crowd on Saturday evening. Friday’s surprise appearance and a pair of duets from Gwen and her hubby attracted worldwide press and social media attention, but Shelton already had the crowd eating out of hand by the time his wife appeared from stage-left to a thunderous roar.

Riley Green established himself as a bona fide emerging superstar on Thurday night, while Florida Georgia Line knocked it out of the park with a pyro-heavy Sunday evening close – the end of a perfect weekend of fun, sun and Thunder!

HARDY, Randy Houser, Gabby Barrett, Chase Rice, Lindsay Ell, Michael Ray, Blanco Brown, Jameson Rodgers, Tracy Lawrence, Sawyer Brown, Phil Vassar, Maggie Rose, James Barker Band, MacKenzie Porter, Tyler Braden, Jackson Dean and Nolan Sotillo rounded out a terrific balance of classic artists and timely up-and-comers.

We can’t wait to do it all again next year!

2023 early bird on-sale was sold out in two minutes on Thursday, but second-tier ticket pricing is currently in effect for next year’s event. For a limited time, four-day GA passes are on sale for only $225 (plus taxes and fees). Get ‘em now – you never know who might show up!
