RISING COUNTRY RECORDING ARTIST & SONGSTRESS BROOKE MCBRIDE SET TO RELEASE SOPHOMORE EP COMING CLEAN – DUE NOVEMBER 1

Recording Project Highlights Six Unfiltered, Girl-Powered Original Tracks

Lead Single, “One More,” Teed-Up For September 20 Digital Release

Nashville based, indie country recording artist, Brooke McBride (Like Bam Records) who also signed with Banner Music Publishing in a single song deal earlier this year, is slated to release her debut EP titled COMING CLEAN.* The recording project will be available via all digital and streaming outlets (Amazon, Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, Tidal etc.) on Friday, November 1, 2019. (Pre-sale event begins Friday, October 11, 2019/CMDSHFT).

Produced by Robert Williams in Music City, Tennessee, the six-song song EP spotlights ear-catching instrumentation (acoustic and electric guitar, cello, fiddle and banjo) to lend a contemporary new-age sound to a traditional country music trademark. Brooke’s personal motto, “no fluff, no filler,” is signatured through unfiltered, crystal clear compositions characterized by the songwriter’s witty and clever lyrics, and authentic southern delivery.

“This collection of songs is my 'Coming Clean’,” said the North Carolina native and newlywed bride Brooke McBride. “It’s not at all meant in a negative connotation; the tracks are simply real pages from my life over the last few years. Some are funny, some are somber and sobering, and some are just straight up truth. They’re all my stories; they're unfiltered and they’re real, and that’s what I wanted to convey with this new music."

The EP showcases McBride’s knack to create a storyline painted with thought-provoking lyrics that play on words. Sultry and raspy vocals complemented by raw acoustic performances open chapters to relationships—the good, the bad, the ugly and the indifferent. The title track, “Coming Clean,” reveals the pain of a truthful wrongdoing; “One More” (at country radio now) sparks with electricity, while “The State I’m In” travels down a hopeless road to return from an emotional wreck.

As an early introduction to the anticipated COMING CLEAN EP, Brooke will release the single “One More” this Friday, September 20, 2019 via all digital retail outlets and streaming outlets.

ABOUT BROOKE MCBRIDE:

Brooke McBride is a "no fluff," "no filler" singer/songwriter that prides herself in just being downright real. The North Carolina native is defined by her raw, sultry and smoky vocals as her signature; her rockin’ live performance is “country music at its best with a razor edge.” Brooke made the move to Nashville, Tennessee in January 2013. She studied at University of North Carolina at Wilmington and transferred to Belmont University where she earned her B.B.A. in Music Business and graduated Cum Laude. Her keen knowledge and understanding of the music business, contracts, publishing royalties and production led her to launch her independent label, Like Bam Records, to become a full-time musician and recording artist. Brooke wrote, recorded and co-produced a 10-song project (SO MUCH TO SAY) during her senior year in high school; she followed with the release of her debut EP, aptly titled SONGS ABOUT CAROLINA, in 2014. From Massachusetts to Montana, the young entertainer, road warrior and self-titled “booking agent” has toured across the country with nearly 100 dates a year on her tour schedule.

Driven by lyrical content, instrumentation and a “good hook,” Brooke’s musical influences encompass Alison Krauss, Johnny Cash, Lee Ann Womack, Lori McKenna, Brandy Clark and Fleetwood Mac. Brooke’s talents have been recognized early in her career by the entertainment industry and television producers. She was acknowledged as a Carolina Music Award nominee for “Best Female Country Artist” (2013), a featured extra on the hit ABC Television series Nashville, and she made an appearance in the promotional commercial created for the 2013 CMA Awards (Nashville). In 2016, Brooke released the single, "Can't Get Away" -- a song that addresses and identifies the differences and similarities between the demons and obstacles presented on and off the road. Her new six-song EP, titled COMING CLEAN, is due November 1, 2019.
