The Red Skelton/Debbie Reynolds Tribute show was held at the Higley Center for the Performing Arts in Gilbert, AZ on January 6, 2018. It was a great show.

The entire show was staged as a fictional 1980s TV variety program, “ONE MORE TIME” based on the premise of a legendary performer reprising his or her act. Chuck Carson was featured as the show’s host and Lynn Roberts portrayed Red Skelton. Many of Red’s characters was fully costumed. The lineup included, Gertrude and Heathcliff (Seagulls) Sheriff Deadeye, Junior - the mean liddle kid, Clem Kadiddlehopper, San Fernando Red, Willie Lump Lump and Freddie the Freeloader.

Included in the two-act production was guest star, Jan Sandwich performing her tribute to Debbie Reynolds as well as an additional fun filled comedic piece as the infamous “Eloise, the bag lady”.

Some of Red’s characters interacted with the TV host and Act Two kicks off with Sheriff Deadeye involving the audience in his rendition of GHOST RIDERS IN THE SKY.

The show closed in a delightful duet, “TWO SLEEPY PEOPLE” with Freddie The Freeloader and Eloise, the bag lady.
