Kyle Stallons Rolls Out New EP, “Heaven on Wheels”

Playing For Military Served As Motivational Backdrop For New EP, “Heaven on Wheels”

Country singer-songwriter and accomplished pianist, Kyle Stallons just released his debut EP titled, Heaven on Wheels. It is a collection of songs that he wrote over the past few years and was produced by Kellen McGregor of American-Christian metalcore band, Memphis May Fire. The six-song release is available on Apple Music, Amazon Music, iHeart Radio, iTunes, Pandora, Spotify, and YouTube. "One of my favorite places to listen to music is in my truck rolling down the highway. I think most people can relate to that. It’s where we finally find a moment to process our day, emotions and think about the people in our lives. It’s where we learned just about everything!” Stallons added, “I wanted to give people something to jam out and roll down the windows to. Time to drive and reminisce, and to laugh, cry and sing. This EP is for the young lovers, the old lovers and everyone in between." Music has always played an important role in Stallons’ life. His musical journey began at the early age of 4 when his mother, a trained vocalist began teaching him piano and voice. The Aledo, Texas-native took piano lessons and sang in his church growing up. He was also an athlete so upon high school graduation, although he had a tough decision, he chose music. Stallons auditioned for the college of music at the University of North Texas where he spent 4 years studying jazz piano performance. During his college years, he played gigs in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and worked on a cruise ship during summer breaks. In September of 2008, Stallons moved to Nashville where he began to play gigs on Broadway. From there, he made connections that led him to perform with John Michael Montgomery for nearly two years. Following that, he played with Chuck Wicks, Walker Hayes, Craig Campbell, Russell Dickerson, Ryan Hurd, and opened for Brad Paisley, Jana Kramer, Toby Keith, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Josh Turner, Eli Young Band, Ricky Skaggs, Rascal Flatts and The Band Perry. In 2013, Stallons was offered an opportunity to play keyboards, guitar and sing background vocals for Kellie Pickler. Throughout that time, his resume grew to include performances with various artists on the Grand Ole Opry, the historic Ryman Auditorium as well as major TV shows The View, Craig Ferguson, Ellen, and The ACA Awards. He worked with Pickler until 2017 and shortly after started his pursuit of a solo career. Stallons also traveled all over the world and was part of numerous USO tours. He performed in Afghanistan, Turkey, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, and Australia. When asked about some of the highlights, he commented, “This was a game-changer. Playing for the military was a life-changing experience.” It completely changed his perspective and motivated him. That inspiration can be heard throughout this project and in all of his songs drawing ideas from people and life experiences and building stories around it. “The reason we say things like ‘Heaven on Wheels’ is because deep down, we all truly want to be in that promised land where there are no more tears, sorrow and every day is magic! On this side of heaven, we only see a glimpse of those moments and memories that remind us that there is life after this. God gives us those little signs of glory through music! That is why we sing!” said Stallons. Stallons will release a new single and video in early 2018. Watch the official lyric video for Heaven on Wheels here.
