Thursday, June 25th, 2020 at 7:00pm

Special Guests Larry Fitzgerald and Hall of Famer Kurt Warner Will be Part of Evening Festivities

Join Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona (Habitat) and Stearns Bank along with host Carey Pena, and special guests Larry Fitzgerald and Hall of Famer Kurt Warner for a once-in-a-lifetime online event that will leave guests inspired as they hear the stories of families impacted by the efforts of Habitat for Humanity. It all happens online on Thursday, June 25th at 7:00p.m.

Online attendees will have an opportunity to bid on dozens of cool auction items, hear stories about Valley residents and see first-hand how Habitat for Humanity is making a difference in the community through its Aging In Place program. Habitat’s Aging in Place services are designed for local residents, age 65 or older, to help them age safely in their homes. The program focuses on making safety improvements, mobility modifications and weatherization enhancements.

One story is that of a Valley retiree named Loretta. She worked hard for a lifetime, raised a family and now lives alone. Sadly, Loretta recently took a fall in her home and without housing assistance and no resources to move into a senior community, Loretta needed help fixing up her home. Guests will see how Habitat made a difference in Loretta’s life and gave her hope and be able to jump in and participate.

“A strong community is built on a strong and stable home," said Tom Hosier, VP and Arizona Market Manager for Stearns Bank. "Stearns Bank Is passionate about helping others achieve their greatest ambition and we're proud to continue our partnership with Habitat for Humanity to make homes accessible for everyone."

Jason Barlow, President and CEO of Habitat stated, “We are so excited and extremely grateful to our sponsors and supporters who’ve helped us change our signature fundraising event into an online event that everyone can enjoy from the safety of their homes. We’re asking folks to register, share with friends, and then tune in, bid on the auction items and have some fun so we can continue to help more Arizonans stay in a safe place to call their own.”

Register now to access the virtual event and begin receiving updates and reminders as it gets closer to showtime. Then plan to tune in and watch online with your friends on June 25th.

Guests can also support the fundraising efforts by bidding online. The Auction goes LIVE June 19th. Once on the registration site click "Register to Participate" and start receiving notifications about the upcoming auction.

In addition to our Stearns Bank, Habitat would also like to thank our Investment Partners, Cullum Homes and American Homes 4 Rent without whom this event would not be possible.
