Dean Miller Returns to Radio with his New Single “1965” Available Now on All Platforms

Dean Miller returns to radio with the title track from his forthcoming album 1965. Inspired by the nostalgic era of the late-60s, the lyrics of "1965" poignantly recall a time “back before the worries of the world came crashing in.” Delivering an honest and wistful desire for the past, “1965" takes listeners on a musical journey back to a place best remembered through Kodaks and yearbooks.

“I’ve always had this sort of nostalgia for the past,” explains Miller. “Cadillac’s with fins, Johnny Cash, people smoking cigarettes; a more innocent time. ‘1965’ was inspired by those images and in writing it I tried to capture the coolness of that era; musical snapshot, if you will, of a simpler time.” Miller is no stranger to radio-- charting multiple singles of his own, as well as many country stars recording his music including headliners as George Jones, Trace Adkins, Trisha Yearwood, Jamey Johnson and many more. When he’s not writing, recording, doing live shows or producing young artists, he pursues his other great passion: dog training. As an official trainer for the Tennessee SPCA and recipient of Nashville Paw Magazine’s Best Trainer award, Miller has helped Sheryl Crow, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Emmylou Harris and Kenny Chesney, among other clients, enjoy happier home lives with their furry friends. Written and produced by Miller, “1965” is a time-travel rush to a simpler time. The new single is available now across all digital platforms.
