COUNTRY THUNDER MOVES BACK TO APRIL 2022 – MORGAN WALLEN, BLAKE SHELTON, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE & RILEY GREEN CONFIRMED AS HEADLINERS!

SPRINGTIME IN ARIZONA! COUNTRY THUNDER MOVES BACK TO APRIL 2022 WITH A MONSTER LINE-UP MORGAN WALLEN, BLAKE SHELTON, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE AND RILEY GREEN CONFIRMED AS HEADLINERS!

Hot on the heels of last month’s epic throwdown at Canyon Moon Ranch in Florence, Country Thunder Music Festivals returns to its traditional April extravaganza in 2022.

If the 2021 sell-out has been any indication whatsoever, the ‘22 line-up will only add to the legend of the desert’s most iconic music festival.

“It has always been customary for us to begin our festival run in Arizona,” says Country Thunder Music Festivals CEO Troy Vollhoffer. “It’s the perfect place to start on a high note - the weather is perfect, the fans are stoked and it really sets the stage for another exciting year of music festivals.

“It felt amazing to be together again in October, but we knew that we had to deliver again in 2022. This is the line-up that our Arizona fans have asked for, and we’re thrilled to give it to them!”

Every once in a while an artist comes along who transcends the country music genre and, in fact, changes the entire game. Morgan Wallen is that artist right now, for the immediate future, and well beyond.

The numbers and the fan hysteria speak for itself.

With over seven billion (yes, you read that number correctly) on-demand streams, numerous multi-market, multi-platinum certifications and four consecutive chart-toppers, Wallen’s widely-praised sophomore effort, Dangerous: The Double Album, reigned #1 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart for a whopping 10 consecutive weeks upon its release.

The blockbuster remained in the top 10 for 33 weeks, plus earned the biggest streaming week for a Country album in music history. It includes another record-breaking achievement with one of Time magazine’s Top 10 Songs of 2020, “7 Summers,” and “Wasted On You” – both debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and inside the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10, not to mention the 4x platinum Diplo collaboration, “Heartless,” and another platinum chart-topper, “More Than My Hometown.”

His limited Fall headlining gigs in the U.S. sold between 30 and 50,000 tickets per venue in minutes, causing pandemonium in each market. Wallen’s headline performance at Country Thunder Bristol has been called the “Country Music Event Of The Year” in America for 2021.

CT Nation in Arizona is in for a life-altering live music experience!

And what can you say about Blake Shelton that hasn’t already been said?

Indeed, there are very few artists in music (and television) history who have captured the hearts and minds of fans the way Shelton has. Since 2001 he has been an unstoppable force in not only country music, but also television and pop culture, landscapes.

Just a few career highlights on a list too long to compile: 11 best-selling albums, a staggering 28 No. 1 singles, numerous sold-out arena and stadium tours, every industry music award and honor imaginable (including the 2020 ACM Single Of The Year for “God’s Country”), and nine years as the most successful “coach” on the wildly successful NBC series, The Voice.

At his core, however, Shelton is a live artist who connects with fans on a concert stage the way very few can. It will make for a perfect night at Canyon Moon Ranch when he launches into any one of those 28 No.1s – count on it!

And the long-awaited return of FGL to the desert will be a welcome one.

In just over a decade, singer-songwriters Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley have amassed 13 No. 1 hit singles over five albums (four of which went straight to No. 1) and, literally, every music industry award imaginable (33 and counting).

The streak continued with the 2021 release of Life Rolls On, and the hit singles “Long Live” and “I Love My Country.”

The duo’s live shows have become events – the fun and excitement level will be at a ten when the lads take the stage!

Riley Green is poised to be the next great country superstar – and he has all the makings.

The former standout quarterback with Jacksonville State University has been honing his craft since 2013. His 2019 major-label debut Different ‘Round Here reached No. 11 on the Billboard Country Charts, while hit singles “There Was This Girl” and “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” made fans and critics alike stand up and take notice.

The 2019 ACM New Male Artist Of The Year will be on the road for most of 2022 – catch him while he’s red hot at Country Thunder Arizona!

HARDY returns, along with Gabby Barrett, Randy Houser, Chase Rice, Lindsay Ell, Michael Ray, Tracy Lawrence, Jameson Rodgers, Blanco Brown, Sawyer Brown, James Barker Band and MacKenzie Porter. The first wave joins the always-stellar supporting cast, with many more to be announced!
