BILLY RAY CYRUS TO PERFORM ON GOOD DAY NEW YORK, PREMIERES ACOUSTIC VERSION OF GLOBAL HIT "GODDESS OF DEMOCRACY"

Billy Ray Cyrus' whirlwind media tour in New York continues as his global hit, "Goddess of Democracy," builds a steady, grassroots foundation within a few days of posting the viral video. On Thursday, the songwriter/superstar will debut an acoustic version of "Goddess of Democracy" during a performance on Good Day New York (airing during 9 a.m. ET hour).

"Goddess of Democracy" is the first release from his forthcoming album, The Snake Doctor Circus, set for release this fall.

During a performance on the TODAY Show, Cyrus dedicated his patriotic anthem,"Some Gave All," to Sen. John McCain while promoting "God Bless The Broken Road," which is in theaters nationwide this Friday, Sept. 7. Proceeds from the film will go to DAV, a nonprofit charity that provides support for veterans of all generations and their families. The more successful the movie is, the more veterans the DAV gets to serve.
