Thanks For The Music

The extended weekend got started on Thursday, November 16th, with our traditional Hot Rod Cruise around the greater Phoenix metro area. More than 100 rods, customs, and classics joined us for a fun jaunt that traveled to Fat Fender Garage, Streetside Classics, All American Billet, and the Martin Auto Museum. What a fun way to get this event rolling.

The weather gods shined on us today, with sunny skies and warm temperatures. Participants and spectators alike were treated to an eyeful as they cruised into the facility past our lineup of 2023 Top 12 Of the Year winners. These top-tier builds just keep getting better, and this year’s winners are certainly a highlight of the event.

We also welcomed more than 150 local high school students to this morning’s ASE Education Foundation Careers in Hot Rodding program, where they got to hear from industry representatives about employment options in our industry, and then check out the cool cars at the show. We’ve had a lot of success with this program this year and look forward to continuing to expose the next generation to hot rodding in the future.

There has never been a better place to scope the latest hot rod parts, scrounge for used pieces or find a new project to get started building!

In fact, between all the top manufacturers on display combined with the massive swap meet full of rust-free vintage tin and parts and the Cars-4-Sale Corral, you could probably build a complete hot rod over the weekend! The sprawling show area and giant tent of Westworld of Scottsdale is just packed with vendors, classic cars and trucks, with the swap meet filling the perimeter of the field!

The cars, the vendor exhibits, the adrenaline-pumping Goodguys AutoCross, the live entertainment and colorful people create a festive atmosphere charged with electricity. Goodguys offers over 18 events annually across the country from the coast to coast and border to border. Our events range from two-day affairs attended by 30,000 to 40,000 people to three-day extravaganza's attracting over 100,000 auto enthusiasts.
